Private Events at Tumbleroot Pottery Pub
We can accommodate up to 50 guests for your private event inside the pub and 10 more if it’s warm enough to spread into our courtyard. You, as the host, can either choose to treat your guests to clay and an open bar throughout the event, or you can ask your guests to pay as they go. We are a from-scratch bar specializing in locally crafted cocktails, spirits, and beers as well as a full line-up of non-alcoholic cocktails, espresso, fresh squeezed juices, and teas. 1 drink minimum/person, including children. We offer curated, seasonal cheeseboards at $12/person and other catered options.
The clay experience at the pub is a self-guided hand-building experience. When your guests arrive, they can order a pound of clay from our bartender ($9/person), grab a seat at any of our tables, and make their own works of art while sipping a craft cocktail surrounded by pottery handmade in Santa Fe. We use a sculptural clay which is self-drying and does not need to be fired. Our community tables are stocked with all the tools you’ll need, tempera paints for adding a touch of color, and to-go boxes so you can take your masterpiece home with you. It’s a uniquely Santa Fe experience.
Pricing:
Space Rental (buy-out): $200*/hour (3 hour minimum)
Gratuity: 20% or $100 minimum
*off-peak rate. On-peak for evenings, weekends, holidays is $300/hour
